

A new name on the global running stage, but growing fast in two years. This year is the second year of JRF and it has become one of the most anticipated running event with participant numbers grew by 70% this year. The race has categories of Kids dash, 5K, 10K and two categories have been certified by World Athletics which the Half Marathon and Full Marathon category. in indonesia, It's more than a race it's a four day celebration where over 27,000 competitive runners and 75,000 visitors from 48 countries , come together to bring runner culture to life. This year, there are 500 total of cheering zone and Nike is back with a bold statement, not only on the cheering zone but also pre race, race day and post race day, making Nike Running alive again in the city.

PRE RACE COMMUNITY INTEGRATION
Leading up to the race day, we collaborated closely with the commnunity to create momentum. Seeding runners who previously participated in Jakarta Running Festival. We collaborated with local run crews who hosted a social run and featured a track session. While our pre-race initiatives sharpened the brand's visibility and created organic engagement on socials, setting the stage for a louder more dynamic race-week presence.
SHAKE OUT RUN
In October 2025, After years of hiatus this year marks the first Nike running been activated again with the whole experience for runners in conjunction with Jakarta Running Fest. Partnered with local run crew, and NSP Retail Partner we Hosted easy 5K shake out Run. Slots of 200 sold out in under 2 hours with total participants exceeded 150 runners.The shake out run commenced at Nike Store Pacific Place with a focused and welcoming ambiance of highlighting Race-day look retail set-up. Some refreshments of carbs loading before race day, and exclusive store promotion of special discounts for all participants were also provided by NSP Retail Partner.

RACE-DAY
NIKE CHEERING ZONE
On the Race day of 10K and Full Marathon category of Jakarta Running Festival. We partnered with local Run crew for cheering zone area with a spotlight on the final push for 10K and Full Marathon category. We had Tanjidor -the hyperlocal music elements, refreshments and local community that energized the total of 12,000 runners on that day.
NIKE RUNNERS LOUNGE
The post-celebration concluded with the Runners Lounge, an exclusive space offered by invitation to unwind and celebrate. A total of 145 participants registered in advance, with over 100 walk-ins, bringing the day’s total to around 250 runners. The lounge was located right beside the starting and finishing lines, providing a perfect vantage for runners to see the swoosh branding on the day. The setup featured a dedicated recovery zone, including ice baths, physiotherapy, and refreshments to help everyone recharge after the event. A shoe cleaning area was available, cleaning over 100 pairs, and a retail space at the Nike Runners Lounge on race day showcased an innovation area, offering product trialing and in partnership with Ekin and NSP
